Job summary

JPMorganChase's Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities (GFICC) Trading team in New York seeks an Investment Grade Credit and Rates Trader. You will originate and execute ideas, collaborate with PMs and research, and help translate market signals into implementations across US IG Credit and Rates.

You will apply fundamental, technical, and relative valuation to form market views, maintain broker relationships, and ensure compliance with internal policies while supporting primary markets

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years in fixed income markets or financial services.
• Strong Python or programming skills with interest in applying AI for trading.
• Demonstrated ability to generate investment ideas and contribute to portfolio outcomes.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to present findings and market views.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships internally and externally.
• Organized, collaborative, proactive, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Trade US Investment Grade Credit and US Rates products.
• Support Investment Grade primary market activity.
• Generate and evaluate investment ideas with PM teams.
• Apply fundamental, technical, and relative valuation analysis to form market views.
• Collaborate with PMs and research to inform decisions.
• Adhere to trading policies and risk controls.
• Present ideas, communicate market flows, and provide color to teams.
• Build and maintain broker relationships and participate in reviews.
