Job summary

Fisher Investments in Washington state seeks a Research Analyst covering Fixed Income to support the Investment Policy Committee by ensuring our bond strategies reflect macro forecasts and themes. The role requires evaluating bonds, generating investment ideas, and communicating insights to internal clients and to our largest, most sophisticated clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of evaluating bonds (Corporate, Municipal, Asset-backed, Sovereign).
• Experience supporting client service and sales efforts.
• Ability to distill probability from multiple possibilities.
• Experience testing and improving current processes.
• Ability to translate current events into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Examine holdings and identify bonds likely to outperform benchmarks using top-down views.
• Support the Investment Policy Committee with performance commentary and new idea generation.
• Understand bond categories to assess market events' impact on future returns and portfolio themes.
• Develop knowledge of Fisher Investments' philosophy, process, and themes.
• Suggest and implement output, process and system upgrades to enhance productivity.
