Job summary

Northbound Executive Search is seeking an experienced Trade Operations Analyst to join a leading international hedge fund in Midtown Manhattan, NY. The role centers on trade reconciliations and settlements for fixed income products and requires proactive failed-trade reporting and account setup on confirmation systems.

Responsibilities include reconciling cash/post-settlements, and coordinating with traders, counterparties, clearing brokers and clearinghouses.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of trade support or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of OTC Derivatives is preferred.
• Knowledge of Advent Geneva is required.
• Understanding of fixed income products and related markets is a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Settlements for fixed income products.
• Reporting failed trades.
• Setting up new accounts and brokers on confirmation and clearing systems.
• Reconciling cash and post settlements.
• Communicating, confirming, settling/funding and reconciling trades with traders, counterparties, clearing brokers and clearinghouses.
• Heavily support high yield bonds, structured products and emerging markets.
• Hands on with Custodian Web Sites, Omgeo Alert, CTM & Oasys for trade flow management.
