Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Senior Specialist in Fixed Income Service to support clients in making informed investment decisions across fixed income products. You will handle inbound client conversations, provide guidance, and execute a mix of fixed income trades on-site in Colorado.

The role emphasizes consultative communication, problem solving, critical thinking, and coachability, with licenses (Series 7 and 63/66) preferred and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

As a Senior Specialist in Fixed Income Service, you will support clients in making informed investment decisions by providing guidance, education, and solutions across fixed income products. You’ll handle inbound client conversations, provide consultative support aligned to client goals, and execute a combination of solicited and unsolicited fixed income trades. You’ll develop expertise across investments including U.S. Treasuries, certificates of deposit, municipal bonds, corporate bonds, government agency bonds, and preferred securities.

This role can help build a strong foundation for a career in wealth management. Through client conversations and exposure to fixed income and portfolio-related topics, you’ll deepen your investment knowledge and strengthen skills in understanding financial goals, explaining complex concepts, assessing needs and risk, and guiding investment decisions. Additional Requirements

• Active FINRA Series 7 license

• Active FINRA Series 63 or 66 license

• Experience interacting with clients in a proactive, consultative service environment

• Strong time management, attention to detail, and risk awareness when executing trades

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

• Experience with fixed income products, including Treasuries, municipals, corporates, CDs, and ETFs

• Experience or interest in conducting portfolio-related and investment planning conversations, with a desire to continue developing broader wealth management knowledge and capabilities

• Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment
