Job summary

TruStage is seeking a Fixed Income Intern to gain hands-on experience in investing in fixed income instruments, including corporate credit and structured credit. You will support analysts, prepare earnings reports, and participate in investment committee discussions.

The program targets students pursuing Finance, Accounting, or Economics degrees, with potential CFA interest, and offers exposure to data tools, Excel modeling, and hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and the desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Head of Credit Research and rotating Senior Analysts on various projects including corporate earnings reviews, private placement new issues, sector reviews, and other various projects.
• Present certain portions of a private placement new issue at an investment committee meeting.
• Gather and organize data for reports/projects.
• Prepare written earnings reports/projects.
• Attend and participate in meetings.
• Spend the last two weeks preparing a presentation for an investment recommendation or sector review on a topical area to a small group of the Fixed Income team.
