Job summary

VanEck is seeking a Fixed Income ETF Summer Intern in New York, NY, for a 10-week program running roughly June 7–August 13. You will work in the Fixed Income ETF Portfolio Management group under the Head of Fixed Income ETF Portfolio Management, gaining exposure across the firm through mentorship and events.

Ideal candidates are juniors or beyond in a 4-year program, with interest in fixed income, securities analysis and markets.

Qualifications

• Currently entering junior level (3rd year) or beyond within a 4-year college program.
• Some experience within a corporate environment is helpful but not required.
• Interest in fixed income, securities analysis, emerging markets and/or corporate or public finance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor markets and index and fund performance in global fixed income.
• Analyze various impacts on fund performance, including sampling risk, turnover, tax and liquidity events.
• Help build reporting mechanisms for tracking error, trade analysis and compliance.
