Job summary

Chandler Asset Management is seeking a Credit Associate to conduct in-depth credit analysis on fixed income securities and monitor credit quality under the guidance of senior staff. You will perform research, model key metrics, and present investment recommendations to support portfolio decisions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, 2–4 years in asset management or 1+ year of fixed income analytics, and advanced Excel/Bloomberg proficiency.

Qualifications

• Education: bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or related field.
• Progress toward CFA designation preferred.
• 2–4 years asset management experience or 1+ year fixed income analysis.

Responsibilities

• Produce written fundamental credit analysis on issuers across corporate, securitized and municipal sectors.
• Assess financial statements, cash flow projections and debt structures to determine creditworthiness.
• Maintain credit models and present concise reports to the Credit Committee and Investment Team.
• Engage with issuer management on Chandler’s coverage universe.
• Monitor credit ratings and market conditions; prepare issuer updates for the team.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders on credit-related strategies.
