Job summary

PTMA Financial Solutions is seeking an Analyst to support fixed income credit research and surveillance across assigned sectors. You will work closely with portfolio managers and the risk team to strengthen investment oversight.

The role involves quantitative and qualitative analysis, earnings-related reporting, and ongoing monitoring of exposures across separately managed accounts. Strong Excel and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
Progress toward CFA and/or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Support credit exposure implementation into separately managed accounts with quantitative and fundamental analysis.
Perform analyses, ratings, relative value assessments, and provide profile updates for portfolio strategy.
Prepare written reports on earnings/releases and communicate findings to investment team.
Monitor separately managed account exposures using financial news, data sources, and regulatory releases.
Maintain and support financial models, evaluate sector statistics, and provide peer analysis.
Assist with internal models and risk management improvements across disciplines.
Develop reports to support Portfolio Management Team and client reporting as needed.
Collaborate with Quantitative and Risk Analyst functions as needed.
Develop proficiency with Bloomberg, Clearwater Analytics, S&P, and PTMA databases.
