Job summary

PIMCO seeks an Analyst/Associate to join its Client Solutions & Analytics group in New York, NY or Newport Beach, CA. The role develops investment analysis and prepares customized client presentations, supporting Strategists with portfolio insights and risk analyses.

You will gain broad exposure to financial markets, perform market and portfolio analyses, and contribute to presentation materials while collaborating with multiple teams. Relocation is required if not local.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in Business/Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or applied science.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• 0-4 years of experience in investment management.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Willing to relocate to New York, NY or Newport Beach, CA if not local.

Responsibilities

• Support Strategists in analyzing client portfolios and building presentations detailing analysis and conclusions.
• Use proprietary software and external data sources to run risk analytics, optimizations, economic scenario analyses, and stress tests.
• Manage multiple projects with deadlines.
• Maintain standard presentation materials with periodic updates.
• Develop understanding of PIMCO investment strategies and risks in different markets.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Analytics, and Product Strategy groups.
