Job summary

PTMA Financial Solutions seeks an Analyst to support fixed income credit research and surveillance across assigned industry sectors, working with portfolio managers and risk teams. The role focuses on credit exposure, quantitative and qualitative analyses, and preparing updates for investment decisions.

The analyst will monitor exposures, analyze sector trends, and contribute to the broader risk management function while developing proficiency with Bloomberg, Clearwater Analytics, S&P, and PTMA

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field; CFA/MBA in progress preferred.
• 1–3 years in investment management or investment banking as entry level fixed income trader/analyst.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support credit exposure implementation into separately managed accounts.
• Perform quantitative/qualitative analyses, ratings assignments and reviews.
• Prepare written reports on earnings releases and updates for portfolio strategy.
• Monitor separately managed account exposures and analyze sector/credit trends.
• Maintain and support financial models and run peer analyses for risk management.
