Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferably in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Zero to two years of relevant experience; internship experience in investment management or alternatives is preferred.
• Strong mathematical, quantitative, and analytical abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build deep command of PIMCO's investment process, portfolio positioning, and market outlook.
• Represent the investment team internally and collaborate across the platform.
• Own and develop product and client-service materials with feedback loops for quality and relevance.
• Understand business, stakeholder, and client needs; articulate business value to leadership.
• Track competition and bring a point of view on growth of the platform.
• Apply AI-powered tools to improve productivity and recurring workflows.
• Construct attribution, performance, and risk reporting for portfolios.
