Schreiber Foods in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Fixed Assets and Capital Projects Accountant to manage the lifecycle of fixed assets, leases, and capital projects. You will ensure accurate depreciation, capitalization, and regulatory compliance while overseeing asset tracking and financial management of capital initiatives.

You will collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance to maintain budget integrity, support audits, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of work experience, preferably 2+ years in accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday) or similar platforms.
• Curiosity in leveraging technology and automation to improve processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Understanding of fixed assets, leases, and capital projects accounting.
• Knowledge of control frameworks and month-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate accounting for tangible and intangible assets, capital projects, and lease obligations.
• Performs month-end close activities for fixed assets, leases, and capital projects, with reconciliations.
• Manages asset lifecycle, leases, appropriation requests, and capital projects; drives process improvements.
• Implements internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliant reporting.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and provides accounting expertise on projects.
