Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Fixed Assets Accountant for a hybrid schedule in Nashville. You will prepare and reconcile fixed asset accounts, drive capital project capitalization per GAAP, and produce monthly asset reports. The role requires strong accounting skills, Excel mastery, and Oracle experience.

The position collaborates across teams, supports contract reviews, and maintains asset schedules while contributing to process improvements in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Fixed assets experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills required.
• Ability to review client contracts and fixed assets accounting per GAAP/contract terms.
• ERP software experience (Oracle) and MS Office applications required.
• Experience coordinating with multiple regions and vendors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, reconcile and analyze fixed asset GL accounts; prepare journal entries.
• Process capital equipment requisitions, invoices, and POs; ensure capitalization per GAAP.
• Handle asset sales and closed components activity; maintain buyback data and amortization schedules.
• Prepare asset-related monthly reports and explain variances between GL and asset sub-ledger.
• Support Oracle updates, testing, and ad hoc administrative tasks.
