Job summary

Hendricks Commercial Properties is seeking a Staff Accountant to handle month-end reconciliations and support year-end audits in Beloit, WI. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge and Excel expertise, with Yardi/Sage familiarity a plus.

You’ll contribute to cost tracking for construction and prepare financial packages while benefiting from flexible hours, a Beloit Club membership, and other comprehensive benefits in a dynamic downtown setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Considerable knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Yardi or Sage experience preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• U.S. Work Authorization (required).

Responsibilities

• Assist in year-end audit requests.
• Perform month-end reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in compiling of financial packages.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Run monthly depreciation.
• Maintain job cost for all construction.
• Track and record tenant allowances.
• Prepare and maintain cost to budget schedules.
• Track operating expenses by month.
