Job summary

PangeaTwo seeks a Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, and month-end close activities. The role maintains accurate accounting records, analyzes capital-related transactions, and provides financial information for operational and financial decision-making.

The successful candidate will perform general ledger reconciliations, process fixed asset entries, and collaborate with internal teams on project expenditures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in accounting, auditing or similar financial environment preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets.
• Effective communication with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Self-directed with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with accounting software is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Compile and review fixed assets and capital expenditures data.
• Generate depreciation and asset movement journal entries and disposals.
• Complete monthly close reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Produce reporting and analysis related to capital spending and asset management.
• Collaborate with operations to evaluate project costs and construction expenses.
• Support budgeting and forecasting with reliable financial data.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Coordinate project requests with a high level of accuracy and organization.
