Job summary

Canopy by Hilton is seeking a friendly Hotel Maintenance Technician to keep our property running smoothly and deliver a five-star experience to guests. You will perform general repairs, HVAC maintenance, and preventative tasks across the hotel, contributing to safe, comfortable guest rooms and facilities.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Familiarity with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall, PTAC units, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent English communication skills; able to read, write, and speak fluently.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50–100 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a TEAM.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to guest room work orders and service calls.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and PTAC systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of guest rooms and hotel facilities.
• Maintain the building exterior, common areas, and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and safety concerns as needed.
• Assist the Housekeeping TEAM with maintenance-related needs.
• Complete work orders and communicate any issues requiring additional attention.
• Follow all hotel safety standards and procedures.
