Job summary

Pathward, N.A. is seeking a Financial Crimes Analyst to analyze and investigate customer and transactional activity to identify suspicious patterns and to file SARs/CTRs with regulatory agencies as required.

You will manage multiple workstreams, maintain production standards, and communicate clearly with internal teams and law enforcement when needed. The role offers health benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off.

About the Role

Responsible for analyzing and investigating customer and transactional activity and data to identify patterns to confirm suspicious activity. Responsible for filing suspicious activity reports with regulatory agencies involving Pathward accounts and/or services, in accordance with bank procedures. This position requires the analyst to evaluate multiple banking product types, financial crime types, and systems.


What You Will Do


  • Analyzes and investigates customer and transactional data and activity to identify and confirm suspicious activity.

  • Files SARs & CTRs with regulatory agencies for activity that has been escalated by internal teams, external partners and third parties including Law Enforcement.

  • Maintains service levels with workload in accordance to policies, procedures and compliance standards.

  • Answers inbound and outbound calls to provide servicing for monitoring strategies and customer inquiries.

  • Maintains standards of Production, Quality and Leadership results for workstreams assigned.

  • Other duties as assigned.


What You Will Need

Salary range: $17.25 hourly – $28 hourly


The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.


This role is also eligible for an annual performance-based incentive opportunity.
