Job summary

Arcosa Shoring Products in Union City, MI is seeking multiple full-time 1st shift Fitter/Welder to lay out, position, align, and fit metal parts for welding. You’ll tack-weld pieces using MIG welders and meet production demands at the Union City plant.

The role requires 1+ year MIG welding experience, ability to weld steel and aluminum, and ASW certification desired. Schedule: Mon-Fri 6am-3:30pm. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k match, and more.

Qualifications

• 1+ year MIG welding experience.
• Qualified to weld steel and aluminum.
• Experience reading specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld sub-assemblies into final product.
• Perform flat and horizontal groove welds.
• Accurately measure within specified tolerances.
• Perform flat and horizontal fillet welds.
