Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in structural welding environment preferred.
• Ability to pass a fillet weld test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and tack weld parts and surfaces to be welded.
• Maintain and organize work area and equipment.
• Hand-weld and flame-cut components to join metal.
• Cut and scarf using oxy-acetylene torch.
• Structural welding using FCAW & SMAW.
• Align and fit parts using jacks and related tools.
• Disassemble and reassemble weld setups.
• Remove high spots and bevels with grinders and torches.
