We are offering a fabulous opportunity in Olmsted Falls, OH. The welder fitter will be responsible for laying out, fitting, and fabricating metal components to assemble handrails, primarily using MIG and TIG welding principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lay out and fit handrails, including pitching and coping/mouth-fishing pipe ends for proper fit-up
• Fabricate using flux core, MIG, and TIG welding techniques
• Read blueprints, WPS sheets, and weld symbols
• Operate overhead cranes and tow motors safely

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in layout and fitting of handrails
• 3 years TIG welding experience with aluminum and stainless steel
• 3 years MIG welding experience with aluminum and stainless steel
• Fitting experience in a structural steel or fab shop environment
• Ability to pass a 3G weld test
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
• Experience working in a job shop environment
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to operate safely and efficiently in a shop setting.
