Job Description

We are opening a new operations position with potential for career growth within a multinational company. Bring your manufacturing fitter and welder skills to Harsco Rail, where you'll work with highly engineered products and join a global team.

Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities

• Lay out, fit, assemble, tack weld, and straighten fabrications to blueprints using jigs and fixtures.
• Work on piping systems, fuel tanks, and pressure vessels, excluding hydraulic cylinders, ensuring pressure tightness and repairs.
• Perform gas welding and heat-treating using hand torches.
• Improvise jigs and fixtures for assembly and welding.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness at all times.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Technical School

Experience: 3+ years of welding experience

Skills:

• Setup and use inspection equipment.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Ability to read detailed drawings and welding procedures.
• Knowledge of Weld Symbols, Weld Positions, and measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills: MS Access and Excel.

Work Shifts
