Thompson Metal Fab is hiring experienced Fitters/Fabricators/Welders for our swing shift (Mon--Thur, 3:00 PM--1:30 AM). With 85+ years in the industry, we deliver high-quality work across Civil, Hydro, Oil & Gas, and custom sectors.

What You'll Do

• Layout, fit, and weld structural steel components
• Work from fabrication drawings and welding procedures
• Perform high-quality welds (CJP, FCAW, GMAW, etc.)
• Follow safety standards and collaborate with your team

What You Bring

• 5+ years' experience in welding/fitting (carbon steel)
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1, D1.5, and related codes
• Ability to read shop drawings and weld symbols
• Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, and power tools
• Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs
