Qualifications

Position: Fitter/Welder (Day Shift)

All roles are subject to change based on company needs.

Job Purpose

The Fitter/Welder will interpret blueprints, fit, and weld components (primarily via TIG welding), ensuring parts meet customer specifications through knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.

Job Duties
  • Interpret blueprints and documentation to fit, weld, and finish parts.
  • Select appropriate welding equipment and methods.
  • Inspect products for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
  • Document inspections, materials, and processes.
  • Learn JRMW processes related to assigned parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Welding Certification is a plus but not required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of welding experience required; manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge: GMAW/MIG and GTAW/TIG welding techniques, reading drawings, geometric tolerancing, and measurements. Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math, including metric conversions.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, use hands and fingers, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a manufacturing environment with noise and fumes.
