Pulpmill Services Inc in Monroe, LA, is hiring a fitter/fabricator to support the day-to-day production of its specialty equipment line. The role requires reading blueprints, performing layout and welding tasks, assembling metal parts to tight tolerances, operating forming equipment, and maintaining safe, efficient shop practices.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a metal job shop, strong math and measurement skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Pulpmill services. Inc. (PSI) primary business is the manufacturing, installation, maintenance, and repair of high alloy rotary vacuum equipment, diversifying into General Construction including concrete, structural steel, piping and mechanical projects. PSI has full-service high alloy fabrication and machine shops utilizing advanced CNC machines, water jet and plasma tables, and large horizontal and vertical milling machines.
The fitter/fabricator is responsible for the day-to-day production of Pulpmill Services specialty equipment business.
