HealthPartners in Minnesota is seeking a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) fitter to place and instruct on medical products per physician guidance, ensure patient training, and complete documentation for billing. The role requires at least one year in sales or customer service within a DME or healthcare setting, knowledge of billing rules, and strong communication.
Must pursue COF and state licensure within eight months.
Placing/fitting recommended durable medical soft goods by Physician on patients. Responsible for product knowledge and complex billing rules surrounding a variety of medical equipment and supplies. Responsible for maintaining inventory. Maintaining/cleaning department equipment. Identifies patient needs by asking clarifying questions to effectively promote our products and service.
