Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• HVAC Certification or enrollment in or eligibility for a registered HVAC apprenticeship program in New Hampshire.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade.
• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, piping, and controls.
• Support maintenance and repair tasks such as cleaning components, replacing filters, belts, and basic parts.
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assist with system testing, start-up, and troubleshooting under supervision.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas at job sites.
• Follow all OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.
• Complete required apprenticeship classroom training and coursework.
• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and training hours.

As a Fitter Apprentice here at Honeywell, you will embark on a hands-on learning journey to develop your skills in fitting, assembling, and maintaining mechanical components and systems. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, rooftops, and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periods

• Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately
