Job summary

Plus One, an Optum company, is seeking an energetic Exercise Specialist to support wellness at our Milwaukee fitness center. You will conduct fitness consultations, develop progressive training programs, and guide participants in safe use of equipment.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in exercise science or a recognized certification, CPR/AED and First Aid, and possess knowledge of exercise testing and prescription.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related field is required.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• Knowledge of exercise testing and prescription; ability to design programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness consultations, including movement screens and goal setting.
• Develop progressive fitness programming for participants.
• Monitor safe use of cardio, strength, and flexibility equipment.
• Educate participants on health and wellness information and services.
• Complete internal development courses via LMS.
• Maintain high customer and client experience.
