Qualifications

• Minimum one year management experience.
• Relevant department experience and current personal training certifications.
• CPR/AED, First Aid, O2, and Fitness Modules or ACSM/other acceptable certification.
• Attend orientation within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and develop a high performing fitness staff.
• Develop strategies to motivate staff and achieve goals.
• Maintain safety drills and training records for staff.
• Ensure programs comply with YMCA standards and member engagement goals.
• Provide personal training up to 12 hours weekly as needed.
• Monitor attendance and program participation; report on outcomes.
• Manage branch budget and staffing within approved limits.
• Lead fundraising and community campaigns as assigned.
