Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS Degree in a related field and experience through an accredited internship program.
• CPR certification is required; first-aid certification preferred.
• Training in aerobic instruction or recreation is helpful.
• ACE, AFFA, ACSM or related national certifications required prior to starting the role.
• Candidate must possess a friendly demeanor and above average communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and performing lifestyle programs and personal training services.
• Assisting facility users with fitness equipment effectively.
• Maintaining accurate member and personal client records.
• Effectively demonstrating and assisting facility users with fitness equipment in all fitness and training areas according to quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate member and personal client records according to standard operating procedures.
• Assisting with set‑up, cleaning and preventative maintenance for all fitness related equipment (weight benches, racks and equipment, Spinning bikes and any pool needs).

Casual position with scheduling available between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and performing lifestyle programs, assessments and personal training services according to Sports Core standards.
• Performing fitness services with minimal direction. Includes body fat testing (calipers and Microfit), girth measurements, weight, cardiovascular step test, sit/reach flexibility testing and strength testing.
• Promoting, designing and performing long‑term personal training programs according to the needs and goals of healthy, average adults.
• Effectively demonstrating and assisting facility users with fitness equipment in all fitness and training areas according to quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate member and personal client records according to standard operating procedures.
• Assisting with set‑up, cleaning and preventative maintenance for all fitness related equipment (weight benches, racks and equipment, Spinning bikes and any pool needs).
