Job summary

Planet Fitness PF Baseline Fitness in Fargo is seeking a dedicated fitness staff member to run the PE@PF program, design a simple workout plan, and coach members on proper equipment use.

You will greet members, track goals, promote class sign-ups, assist with front desk tasks, and help keep the club clean and welcoming. A fitness trainer certification and strong customer-service skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Run the PE@PF program, creating and following the schedule.

• Create bi-weekly exercise updates.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist with front desk tasks including answering phones, member check-ins, new sign-ups, and tours.
• Respond to member questions promptly and escalate issues as needed.
• Help maintain club cleanliness and appearance.

Status: Full Time/Non-Supervisor/Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to use the equipment properly and safely.
• Creating creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk related activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • New member sign-up.
  • Take potential members on tours.
  • Changing/updating member account information
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Team Lead, MIT or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club.
• Assist in cleanliness and appearance of club.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
