Planet Fitness in Cornelius, NC is seeking a friendly Fitness Trainer to lead the group fitness program (PE@PF), schedule classes, and guide members toward their goals. You will work on the club floor, demonstrate exercises, promote our Judgement Free Zone, and ensure equipment and spaces are clean.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members including Orientation and DYOP (Develop your own program).
• Proactively engage with members on the club floor regarding fitness goals; instruct safe equipment use.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members and supporting their fitness journeys.
• Perform comprehensive walks of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience and address issues.
• Prospective member calls and tours; assess membership needs and offer Trainer services.
• Greet members/guests, assist with questions, and check-in processes.
• Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries.
• Regular cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and spa amenities.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized according to schedule.
