Job Summary

The Fitness Trainer will create a positive member experience through fitness knowledge and support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct and manage the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including scheduling.
• Consult with members on fitness goals and instruct on equipment use.
• Create bi-weekly exercise updates.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and traffic.
• Assist with front desk activities: answering phones, checking members in, signing up new members, giving tours, and responding to inquiries professionally.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Passion for fitness and health.

• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism.
• Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
• Diplomacy and appropriate behavior in interactions.
• Current CPR certification.
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 or older.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk continuously during shifts.
• Talk in person or on the phone frequently.
• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work with cleaning products as needed.
• Follow strict safety and cleaning protocols, including mask mandates and sanitation procedures.
