Planet Fitness PF Baseline Fitness in Arvada is seeking a full-time Trainer to design simple workouts and guide new members toward their goals, teaching proper use of equipment.

You will run the PE@PF program, schedule classes, assist at the front desk, welcome members, and promote sign-ups while maintaining a clean, friendly club environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding fitness goals and instruct proper use of equipment.
• Create bi-weekly updates with varied exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist at front desk: answer phones, check members in, new member sign-up, tours, update accounts.
• Respond to member questions and escalate to Supervisor as needed.
• Help maintain club cleanliness and appearance.

Job Title: Trainer

Reports to: Club Manager

Status: Full Time/Non-Supervisor/Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in the achievement of their fitness goals by designing a simple workout program and instructing them on the proper use of equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to use the equipment properly and safely.
• Creating creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk related activities including:
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
• Check members into the system.
• New member sign-up.
• Take potential members on tours.
• Changing/updating member account information
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Team Lead, MIT or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club.
• Assist in cleanliness and appearance of club.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completed fitness trainer certification.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
