Job summary

Woodfield Boca Raton is seeking a Fitness Supervisor to assist our Manager with daily operations and supervise fitness staff within a busy wellness center that includes a fitness area, spa & salon operations, aquatics, and a café. The candidate must supervise staff, oversee programming, and help create wellness experiences for our active membership.

They should be outgoing, able to motivate others, and possess excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Availability to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays.
• Certifications in water aerobics, Zumba, Spinning, yoga or Pilates are a plus.
• Create monthly schedules, staffing classes, payroll and budgeting.
• Excellent communications and customer service skills.
• Experience in hospitality, luxury resort or country club.

Responsibilities

• Supervise fitness staff and oversee programming.
• Assist in creating wellness experiences for members.
• Coordinate and maintain high service levels in the Fitness center.
• Work with Fitness Manager and Director of Cascades to ensure proper service sequence.

Our selected candidate willhave an outgoing personality and will be able to manage and motivate others, as well as have excellent communication skills, excellent time management and organizational skills. Our selected candidate will supervise, coordinate and maintain high levels of service in the Fitness center by monitoring the proper sequence of service in conjunction with the Fitness Manager and the Director of Cascades.
Requirements:

• Additional professional fitness teaching certifications preferred including: water aerobics, Zumba, Spinning, yoga, and/or Pilates
• Responsible for creating monthly schedules, staffing classes, payroll, and budgeting
• Must have excellent communications and customer service skills
• Ability to work as necessary, mornings, weekends and holidays
• Prior experience in hospitality, luxury resort and/or country club
