Your Job:

Methodist Dallas Medical Center is seeking a PRN (per diem) Fitness Specialist to join its TEAM! The Fitness Specialist is responsible for providing exercise floor supervision, delivering high-quality customer service, conducting health and fitness programs, instructing group classes, providing personal training, conducting fitness assessments, and assisting with facility oversight and events.

Your Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
  • Current American Heart Association CPR certification
  • Personal Trainer Certification, Health Fitness Specialist, or equivalent (NCCA accredited)
  • 3+ years experience at a hospital-based or community fitness center
  • 2+ years personal training and exercise prescription experience
  • 3 months leading group fitness classes
  • Proficiency in fitness assessments and exercise prescriptions
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate
