Job Location: Staenberg-Loup Jewish Community Center - Denver, CO

Salary Range: $18.81 - $19.00 Hourly

Description
Role and Responsibilities
  • Greets each and every guest with a smile and conversation to foster community.
  • Provide excellent customer service, assist members, and answer guest inquiries.
  • Ensures the facility is only accessed by active members and/or approved guests.
  • Efficient and accurate handling of cash.
  • Goes the extra mile for members and guests by offering to make reservations, find directions, look up phone numbers, etc.
  • Uses time efficiently throughout shift by checking equipment, locker rooms, inventory, etc.
  • Ensures proper coverage when it’s necessary to leave the reception area.
  • Informs co-worker(s) of pertinent information at the end of the shift. Maintains and updates staff communication book.
  • Informs facility manager on duty of any member, guest, or facility issues.
  • Enroll members and guests in programs.
  • Assists staff with lifting and storing facility equipment, furniture, and products to help maintain the facility and prepare for special events.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to work: Early mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication, customer service skills, and work ethic.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic.
  • Strong team player.
  • Proficient with computers or quick learner.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School diploma preferred.
  • Customer service experience

Physical/Mental Requirements (ADA Compliance)

  • Mental requirements include, but are not limited to, the ability to concentrate, take the initiative, cope with stress, and adapt to and stay alert in a business environment.
  • To perform the job's essential duties, the employee must be able to speak, hear, see, and walk more than 2 miles daily.
  • Standing and sitting on the floor
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
