Job summary

The Risher Companies is seeking an Assistant Fitness Director to lead daily operations of the community Fitness Center and enhance the resident experience. You will manage staff, develop programs, coordinate events, and ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.

You will teach group fitness classes, build a personal training pipeline, and monitor participation trends to drive engagement. Strong leadership and communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Current Personal Training Certification from an accredited organization (NASM, ACSM, ACE, NSCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification is required or active.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fitness center operations and maintain service standards.
• Lead and schedule group fitness classes and supervise instructors.
• Track facility performance, utilization, and program participation; report to Fitness Director.
• Coordinate maintenance, safety protocols, and emergency procedures for the facility.
• Support marketing and resident communications to promote programs and events.
• Collaborate with Fitness Director on departmental goals and operational initiatives.
