Job summary

Plus One, an Optum company, is seeking an enthusiastic Exercise Specialist to join our fitness center team in Fort Mill, SC. You will conduct fitness consultations, develop progressive programs, and guide members in safe use of equipment to promote healthy lifestyles.

You have a bachelor’s in exercise science or a current NCCA certification, CPR/AED and First Aid, and strong MS Office skills. This role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within a large wellness organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or NCCA-accredited PT certification.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• Knowledge of exercise testing and prescription; ability to operate fitness equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness consultations, movement screens, needs analyses, and goal setting.
• Develop progressive fitness programming to motivate participants.
• Instruct participants on safe and effective use of cardio, strength and flexibility equipment.
• Educate participants on health and fitness information and available programs.
• Complete internal development courses through the LMS.
• Maintain high-quality customer and client experience.
