Job summary

The Salvation Army Greenville Kroc Center in Greenville, SC is seeking a Kroc Specialist to drive member acquisition and experience in Membership, Recreation and Fitness. You will oversee daily fitness center operations, ensure safety and cleanliness, open/close the gym, and lead staff for scheduling and satisfaction analysis.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of customer relations and fitness activities experience, and CPR/First Aid/AED certification within 30 days

Qualifications

• Two to four years’ experience in customer relations and leading fitness and recreational activities preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Must have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet all people at the Kroc Center.
• Assist members, guests, and colleagues by listening and offering solutions.
• Offer tours linking needs to Kroc Center programs.
• Inspect and maintain fitness and weight room equipment; report repairs.
• Open/close gym and set up for events; lead when applicable.
• Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale software per policies.
• Attend department meetings and training sessions.
