The Salvation Army Greenville Kroc Center is seeking a part-time Associate to support Membership, Recreation and Fitness programs. You will help create a welcoming, safe environment and support daily gym operations and event setup.
Responsibilities include greeting members, guiding tours, maintaining cleanliness, enforcing policies, and assisting with phone inquiries and program information. CPR/First Aid certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

The Kroc Associate is focused on member acquisition and experience in the areas of Membership, Recreation and Fitness. These staff members are responsible for participating in the creation of a welcoming, helpful, and safe environment where individuals and families can learn, grow, and thrive, Oversees the daily use of the fitness center and equipment by members, guests, and visitors; ensures safe, professional, and enjoyable operation of the fitness area; ensures the safety, cleanliness and proper maintenance of the fitness facility and equipment; opens and/or closes the gym and basic set up for events on a daily basis.
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language. The ability to demonstrate good physical condition and effort associated with walking, running, standing, and moderate-to advanced weightlifting in a fitness center environment including the ability to meet the demands of the gymnasium and athletic field programs.
Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy (25-50 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment. Moderate mobility: duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.
