Job summary

A Connecticut fitness facility is seeking a full-time Fitness Manager to lead the department's financial performance and hit personal and monthly KPI targets.

You will manage Personal Trainer payroll and expenses, partner with the Membership team, develop lead generation strategies, oversee inventory, and coach staff to deliver outstanding wellness services. Two years of related sales experience and 2+ years of leadership are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related sales experience.
• 2+ years of leadership and people management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fitness equipment and wellness strategies.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for the department's financial performance in total fitness services.

Our firm is working with a growing fitness facility who is looking to add a Fitness Manager full time

This role with be responsible for:

• Responsible for hitting personal & monthly sales Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets
• Manage Personal Trainer payroll & expense
• Partners closely with the Membership department
• Develops lead generation strategies with team to ensure lead targets are hit
• Lead for all fitness products in location
• Supplement & Inventory Management
• Works with Admin Specialist to manages the supplement profit & loss

Team & People Management:

• Responsible for the recruiting, hiring and onboarding of personal training
• Provides input and participates in performance assessment and termination processes
• Develops a high performing team through coaching, teaching and training
• Performance & KPI management of all fitness staff

You must:

• A passion for fitness. Demonstrated knowledge of fitness equipment and wellness strategies
• 2 years related sales experience
• 2+ years of leadership and people management experience
