The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Fitness Instructor to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world. After a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and features over 750 rooms, cottages, and villas, with 65,000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets, including 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of personal training experience, experience leading group classes of 5-30 people, and certification in Personal Training along with another fitness/nutrition modality.

Classification: Part-Time (1-5 days a week)

Shift: Various (classes are in 2-hour shifts, available in AM or PM) – must be available on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $40.50 - $45.00 per hour, based on experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Fitness Instructor, you will teach and facilitate fitness classes for members and guests, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Your responsibilities include:

• Providing individual and group exercise instruction
• Ensuring safe exercise practices and correcting techniques as needed
• Staying current with exercise trends and techniques
• Conducting opening and closing procedures
• Greeting guests and responding to inquiries
• Maintaining cleanliness of the facility and equipment
• Monitoring facility use for safety
• Performing general fitness duties as needed
