Overview
Concierge Care Wellness Center serves as an extension of our Adult Concierge and Executive Health practices in Charlotte, offering a range of services focused on fitness, nutrition, and overall wellness. While our Executive and Concierge practices are known for delivering exceptional care through our dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals, the Wellness Center enhances that commitment by supporting patients in making sustainable lifestyle changes.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Leads various group fitness classes and provides programming that results in membership engagement and incorporates basic fitness principles. Class types are subject to the needs of the facility and the direction of group fitness supervisor or other management.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Certification / Registration / License
Current CPR required, AHA
Work Experience
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Nationally recognized group fitness certification or equivalent certification with Group Fitness Supervisors approval and appropriate CEC’s to keep certification current.
Must be able to demonstrate and lead exercise movements in front of a class.
Must attend/perform/complete mandatory hospital and departmental training.
Works in wellness center/gym environments. May work in extreme heat with hot materials. Must be able to utilize appropriate universal and specific precautions for protection from potential exposure to infectious or communicable diseases.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to use visual near and distance acuity. Must have verbal ability to communicate in person and over the phone or radio. Must be able to assist co-workers in transfers and transport supplies, patients/residents, or equipment using good body mechanics. Must have functional range of motion of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spines, upper and lower extremities with a grip strength of 60-80 pounds, specific to the job class evaluation. Must be able to forward reach, overhead reach, bend, squat, kneel and change from one position to the other rapidly. Must be able to lift 25-60 lbs. and carry 25-50 pounds specific to job class evaluation. Must be able to remain calm under stressful situations. Must be able to assess and respond to multiple situations simultaneously. Must be able to prioritize job tasks and organize workspace to be efficient and conducive to completing work tasks as assigned in a timely manner.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
Work Experience
1 year experience based on certification OR on-going mentorship program with group fitness supervisor preferred
