Supreme Fitness Group is seeking a Fitness Trainer/Instructor to lead the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and guide new members toward their fitness goals. The trainer will instruct proper equipment use and tailor sessions to member needs in a fast-paced club environment.

The role emphasizes a welcoming, professional, and safety‑minded approach with daily interactions, scheduling responsibilities, and ongoing member support. This position is on-site in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Previous Fitness Trainer/Instructor experience preferred.
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Passion for fitness and health.

Responsibilities

• Run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and manage scheduling.
• Instruct members on proper and safe equipment use and discuss fitness goals.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone and support on the club floor.
• Conduct routine walks to ensure member experience and safety.
• Create bi‑weekly exercise updates and meet class requirements.
• Assist with member sign‑ups, tours, and account updates.
• Answer phones and assist callers with questions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all club areas.

Salary Range: $18.47 - $18.47 Hourly

Responsibilities

The Fitness Trainer will be responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF) and assisting new members in achieving their fitness goals.

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on proper and safe equipment use
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members on the club floor and offering support
• Perform comprehensive walks of all fitness areas to ensure a great member experience; quickly address issues as identified
• Create bi‑weekly exercise updates
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally; elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager when needed
• Answer phones and assist callers with a variety of questions
• Check members into the system and handle new member sign‑up
• Take prospective members on tours and facilitate necessary account updates
• Clean and sanitize all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all club areas; follow the routine cleaning schedule for restrooms and other spaces

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills; ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers, exceeding expectations

• Demonstrate diplomacy in all interactions while using appropriate behavior and language
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Demands
