Duke University in Durham, NC is seeking a knowledgeable Fitness Instructor to plan and lead safe, engaging group fitness classes on-site at Brodie Recreation Center or Wilson Recreation Center.
Candidates must hold current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, a credible fitness certification, a Bachelor’s degree, and be able to lift 50 lbs. Evening and weekend work is required; valid driver’s license is needed.

The Fitness Team within the Duke Recreation and Physical Education department is looking for knowledgeable, energetic, and certified Fitness Instructors. All instructors are required to hold a current Certification from a respected and validated certifying organization. Current CPR and First Aid Certifications are Also Required. This position is onsite. The work is performed on-site on Duke University’s East Campus in the Brodie Recreation Center or Duke University’s West Campus in the Wilson Recreation Center.
Anticipated Pay Range: will vary based on instruction experience with room to grow.

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $23.26 to USD $36.73.
