Strong & Shapely Gym in East Rutherford, NJ is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to join our team. You will greet members, answer inquiries, and manage the front desk while providing a warm, professional experience.

You'll conduct campus tours for prospective members, process payments, schedule classes, and maintain a clean lobby. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, outgoing, and comfortable with computer systems.

Qualifications

• Friendly and professional disposition.
• A passion for health and fitness.
• 2+ years in customer service, receptionist, or front desk experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong work ethic.
• Familiar with computers, spreadsheets, and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and prospective members
• Provide tours for prospective members
• Respond to inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email
• Maintain a clean and organized lobby and front desk area
• Accurately record client information and accept payments
• Schedule classes and appointments
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Ensure gym rules and systems are followed
