Job summary

The JCC Association of North America is seeking a part-time Fitness Floor Associate to work in the Margate City location. This role involves implementing member safety on the fitness floor and instructing members on the proper use of fitness equipment.

Shifts are available on Wednesday and Friday with opportunities for more hours. At $16/hour, this position offers the chance to contribute to a supportive community while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our members.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist members with fitness equipment use.
• Strong observation skills for monitoring fitness areas.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety on the fitness floor.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer member safety on the fitness floor.

Principal Responsibilities:

Come be a part of the JCC Fitness Staff! Our Fitness Associates are responsible for the implementation and administration of member safety on the fitness floor, instructing members on proper use of the fitness equipment, and keeping all the cardio and fitness equipment clean and safe. Looking for someone to work Wednesday 11-4 shift and Friday 12-7 Shift with the opportunity to pick up more hours. $16/Hr.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Staff fitness floor to assist members
• Monitor cardio, upper deck, stretch area, free weight rooms continually for member service and safety
• Monitor free weight area, cardio fitness floor, and basketball courts every 20 minutes
• Help new and existing members exercise techniques and be able to talk and assist members as needed
• Follow and sign off on a daily deep cleaning schedule of fitness floor
• Reports to Health & Wellness Director and/or Fitness Supervisor
