Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency in Whitehall, Ohio, seeks a Fitness Facility Coordinator to manage daily operations of a fitness facility and assist the Fitness Facility Manager. The role includes leading second shift operations and ensuring safe, effective programs for users.

You will develop and review instructor contracts, supervise cleanliness contracts, and oversee equipment inventory and maintenance. Experience in MWR and RECTRAC is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Resumes must be two pages (or less) and clearly demonstrate experience with sports programs and guiding participants in developing skills.
• Hold a current nationally recognized Fitness/Personal training certification such as ACE or NASM.
• Certifications for teaching Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Indoor Cycling, Fitness Boxing are highly preferred.
• Previous MWR and RECTRAC experience is valued and must be shown on the resume.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Fitness Facility Coordinator and assist in daily operations of the fitness facility.
• Lead or supervise second shift operations in the absence of the Fitness Manager.
• Assist in developing and reviewing instructor contracts and specifications.
• Oversee cleanliness contracts and standard operating procedures; conduct classes and guide facility rooms.
• Oversee inventory of property and fitness equipment; track maintenance and repairs as needed.
