Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking a dedicated Fitness Facility Supervisor to assist the Facility Manager with daily operations, including second-shift leadership in program activities. You will help publicize sports programs, coordinate with marketing for promotional materials, and oversee fitness equipment inventory and maintenance.

The role requires experience with running diverse sports programs, ability to work irregular hours, and completion of required safety courses.

Qualifications

• Related work experience that demonstrates ability to carry out a sports program and guide participants in developing skills.
• Work experience equivalent in difficulty to the next lower grade level.
• Highly preferred: combination of education and work experience; possession of Basic Fitness Trainer Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall management and operation of the fitness facility, leading second shift or when the Fitness Manager is absent.
• Publicize sports facilities and events by drafting articles and coordinating promotional materials with marketing.
• Oversee inventory and maintenance of fitness equipment; track condition and repairs as needed.
• Instruct customers and monitor proper usage of equipment.
