Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking an Equipment Technician to service multiple clubs in the Torrance area. You will repair cardio, strength, and functional equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure uptime across assigned locations.

Expect to maintain parts inventory, log tasks in maintenance systems, and collaborate with DRMM, GMs, and vendors. The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, safety focus, and the ability to travel between clubs.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to read schematics and equipment manuals.
• Basic computer literacy for maintenance systems and email.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site repairs on cardio, strength, and functional equipment.
• Complete and document PM tasks per schedules.
• Maintain parts inventory and coordinate reorders.
• Log repairs in ServiceChannel or equivalent system.
• Collaborate with OEMs and vendors for parts and support.
• Provide status updates to DRMM and GMs.
• Train club staff on basic care and early failure reporting.
• Support emergency repairs outside regular hours if required.
